New operating systems call for new certifications, and Microsoft has designed a new MCTS that covering Windows Vista - and is now offered by New Horizons Cape Town. The MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology/ Specialist) credential for Windows Vista allows future PC technicians to demonstrate their knowledge set them one step ahead with this internationally recognised qualification.

MCITP
One step above the MCTS is the MCITP accreditation. This certification is aimed at those who have completed their MCTS: Windows Vista – Configuration and want to gain additional knowledge of Vista. The MCITP has been divided into two separate certifications:
MCITP: Consumer Support Technician
MCITP: Enterprise Support Technician
