WHAT IS THE AIM OF THE COURSE?
Learn the fundamental concepts and terminology of software application development and develop skills in designing and writing simple computer programs. The course assumes no programming background and provides and overview of the software development process in addition to introducing important programming constructs and methodologies.
Learn topics such as programming language characteristics, integrated development environments, flowcharts, algorithms and pseudocode, variables, operators, conditional statements, looping statements, procedures, error-handling and debugging, object-oriented programming techniques, user interface design, software modeling, and Extensible Markup Language (XML) Web services.

If you would like to become a professional Web designer, end-user of productivity applications wanting to ad advanced functionality to documents and databases, and need to understand programming concepts, you have to attend this course!

Learners may elect to write the International Microsoft and CompTIA examinations at New Horizons' Authorised Prometric Testing Centre. The costs for International exams are not included in the course fees.
